The Cassiar Highway

The Cassiar Highway, officially known as Highway 37— is a vast, remote winding road that leads you through some of Canada’s last true wilderness.

Every bend in the road offers something new: a hidden waterfall, a sudden mountain panorama, or a moose or a bear staring you down as you round the corner.  Yes, it happened on several occasions!

This is no ordinary highway. It's not about getting from point A to point B—it's about the experience of the in-between. With over 450 miles of road stretching toward the Yukon border, the Cassiar offers a journey of solitude, adventure, and endless views.

But even when the route ends, the feeling lingers—that sense of having traveled a path less taken. The Cassiar Highway isn't just a road; it’s a journey into the wild soul of British Columbia. For those who travel it, it becomes more than a memory—it becomes a story.

Just another part of our journey we were grateful to experience.
