Located in the Panamint Valley of the Mojave Desert is the abandoned town of Ballarat. Once a hustling mining town with plenty of gold prospectors and enough people to support a stop along the Wells Fargo route. Once housing three hotels, a school and seven saloons. There isn't much left today but the original jail, some old cars and engines, a general market with nothing for sale and an old dog on the porch that pees while it sleeps!
